Coleen Rooney has hit back at criticism for taking her son out of school to cheer on his England star father at Euro 2016.
The mother-of-three, 30, was targeted on Twitter after she posted that she had whisked her six-year-old Kai to watch husband Wayne lead the Three Lions against Slovakia in France.
Kai, the eldest of the Rooney boys, goes to the exclusive prep school The Ryleys in Alderly Edge, Cheshire, and Coleen was accused of ‘double standards’ for taking him away from his studies on a trip that also included a visit to Disneyland Paris.
