Recognising the growing demand for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) support, JK Educate is committed to providing immediate and comprehensive in-house services for our community.

Our Commitment
We understand the complexities and frustrations of navigating the SEND system, especially with the increasing wait times. Our goal is to offer independent and impartial advice, guidance, and support to families and children with various SEND requirements.

Our SEND Team
Our services are delivered by experienced professionals:

  • Specialist Teacher Assessors: Qualified with over 15 years of classroom teaching experience in public and private schools, holding current Assessment Practising Certificates (APCs).
  • Senior Educational Leader: With over 25 years in primary education, including roles as a primary headteacher and SENCo, holding a NASENCO professional award.

Our Services
We provide a wide range of support services, including:

  • Advice on potential school support and local authority provisions.
  • Reviewing and advising on EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
  • Signposting to relevant agencies and professionals.
  • Guidance on parental EHCP applications and contributions.
  • Support during key stage transitions.
  • Assistance with completing SEND-related forms such as DLA.
  • Help understanding professional reports from educational psychologists and speech and language therapists.
  • Assistance with tribunal paperwork.
  • Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Services

We offer:

  • Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment: Includes a comprehensive report and feedback meeting.
  • Dyslexia Screeners: Initial screening to explore potential dyslexic difficulties.
  • Maths Screeners: To detect possible dyscalculia with a report and feedback meeting.

Qualified specialists with current APCs conduct all assessments and screenings.
